A writing style is a way or technique of communicating with words that is distinctive to the author. An author’s style is defined by the voice, or personality, and general tone that they use in their writing. Depending on the sort of writing they are doing, their target audience, and who they’re writing for, a writer’s style might shift occasionally.

Two main factors influence an author’s writing style:

Voice
In writing, the voice is the identity an author adopts. It refers to the point of view from which the writer narrates a story. This could include first-person narrator, restricted third-person narrator, or omniscient third-person narrator.

Tone
Tone is established by factors such as phrase structure, punctuation, and word choice. Tone is a literary phrase that describes the mood generated by an author’s writing and how it might make a reader feel.
